Jeep Wrangler Is Back to Off-Roading Roots With New Model

It is honestly no surprise that Jeep is coming out with yet another special edition vehicle. IT seems as though they are constantly launching new vehicles that get Jeep fans really excited. The new Jeep vehicle we are going to explore in this blog post harkens back to the olden days when Jeeps were known by another name.

This new and exciting Wrangler is named  the Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition. That’s right, Jeep has decided to bring back a total classic with this new special edition Wrangler. The overall look of this jeep is meant to pay respects to some of the very first Jeeps that were available to civilians following World War II. Those Jeeps were of course manufactured by Willys Overland Motors.

Fortunately this Wrangler doesn’t drive like the Jeeps from 1940 thanks to some serious Jeep parts upgrades which include BF Goodrich KM Mud Terrain Tires, rock rails and a Jeep Trail Rated Kit. These advancements allow this Willys Wheeler to go just about anywhere you want it to.

The Willys Wheeler is outfitted with the popular Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine and is capable of producing 285 horsepower along with 260 lb.-ft. of torque. This Wrangler also comes with an optional five-speed automatic transmission however, if you want to be a true purist you may opt for the six-speed manual gear box that comes standard.
