Jeep has revived the Grand Wagoneer nameplate and introduces it as the brand’s new flagship SUV. This vehicle has three rows and is even larger than the Grand Cherokee, including the extended wheelbase L version. It is worth noting that the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has only been revealed as a concept vehicle and is still in preproduction. No word yet on the exterior aesthetic. We expect it to remain true to the current Jeep style shared across the portfolio, but we also expect unique elements that set it apart from the Grand Cherokee. The extended wheelbase version of the Grand Cherokee provides more than 17 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in use. A diesel engine or a hybrid powertrain seem unlikely at this point—at least for the inaugural model.
